Washing and Maintance

Washing and care of garments with Soft Shell fabric
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a polymeric substance applied to the fabric on the surface of clothing.
This finish helps the fabric not get wet by sliding the water before it is absorbed.
Washing the jackets from dirt and dirt helps the DWR to stay efficient, also boosting performance of the product.
To wash the jackets, close all the zippers and fasten all the fastenings.
Wash the jacket with a cold water washing machine in "delicate" mode.
Use a mild detergent since soaps can leave residues on jackets that interfere with the effectiveness of the DWR.
Rinse twice to permanently remove any detergent residue.
Dry with dryer set at 40 ° for 40/50 minutes.
Do not use bleach, fabric softeners and dry cleaning products.
Do not store the jacket if it is still wet or damp.
To remove grease and oil stains, wet the stain and rub with the product dish detergent; then wash the jacket in warm water together with plenty of it amount of non-aggressive soap powder.
Over time Softshell products will lose their DWR at that point will be necessary reapply a waterproofing product at least once a season or more often if it is subject to intense use or frequent washing.
